Whiskey Business - 2026 BOTB Winner

Congrats to the 2026 Battle of the Blends winner, Whiskey Business! This was Tim's top pick along with Brent Elliot from Four Roses. $25 of every bottle goes to Treasured Vessels Foundation for a downpayment for a new safe home for women that have been trafficked in the DFW area. 

Nose - The nose is sweet and inviting with good oak and fruit.  Cherry, vanilla bean, and citrus to start. Both oranges and lemons are present, with honey, tea, oak, and a subtle red apple.

Palate - The palate shows good maturity and balance with age, brown sugar, and fruit.  Caramels and vanillas hang close to the oak note while cherry, red apple, and lemon develop just above the base.  Mature notes of oak and leather are present as well.

Finish - This is where the age notes shine.  The finish is medium in length with excellent oaks, leathers, and tobaccos.  Brighter notes of citrus and honey, and Honey Crisp Apple balance out the age tannins and a feint cocoa powder round out the vanilla bean sweetness.
