This is an 8yr 9mo old single barrel of 95% Rye whiskey finished in a fresh PX Sherry Cask for 5 days.
Nose: An aromatic array of dark fruits including fig, raisin and date with undertones of cocoa powder and baking spices.
Palate: A co-mingling of sweet red fruits and dried stone fruits coat the palate. Notes of candied figs, toffee coated raisins, subtle cherry and chocolate covered raspberries.
Finish: Long and full bodied sweetness with dried currants, cherry cola, date and fig flavors lasting long beyond the palate.
